Softball Recap: Southlake Carroll Takes a Loss

Southlake Carroll lost against Keller back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dragons took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Emmy May made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Mccarrick, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Southlake Carroll's record is now 15-11. As for Keller, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Southlake Carroll is set to challenge their familiar foe V.R. Eaton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Keller will square off against rival Byron Nelson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
