Softball Recap: Horizon Hawks vs. Tate Aggies
It's playoff time, and Horizon had no trouble coming through when it counted. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Tate Aggies 8-6. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Hawks as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Mackenzie Duncan made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
