Basketball Game Preview: Hill Falcons vs. Overfelt Royals

Hill and Overfelt are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2016, but not for long. The Hill Falcons will be playing at home against the Overfelt Royals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Hill has four straight victories, Overfelt has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Hill didn't have too much trouble with San Jose as they won 51-37.

Ernesto Ochoa continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 23 points and 17 rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gurshan Singh, who posted nine points and eight boards.

Meanwhile, Overfelt suffered their biggest defeat since December 16, 2024 on Friday. They lost 70-48 to Gunderson.

Hill's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-16. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points over those games. As for Overfelt, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.

Hill beat Overfelt 62-54 in their previous meeting back in January. Will Hill repeat their success, or does Overfelt have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
