Softball Recap: Brantley Has No Trouble Against Mckenzie

Brantley got themselves on the board against McKenzie on Tuesday, but McKenzie never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 11-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-1 back in March.

Brantley has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for McKenzie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-12.

Looking ahead, Brantley will head out to challenge Elba at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.2 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. McKenzie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
