Volleyball Recap: Glenn Takes a Loss

If Glenn was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Workman last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Glenn Eagles lost 3-0 to the Oxford Academy Patriots on Friday. The Eagles have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meetings.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-11, 25-8.

Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Oxford Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

Coming up, Glenn will face off against Cerritos at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oxford Academy, they will take on Whitney at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
