Volleyball Game Preview: Santiago Sharks vs. Crossroads Roadrunners + How To Watch

The Santiago Sharks will square off against the Crossroads Roadrunners at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Santiago is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Peninsula by a score of 3-1.

Santiago had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-12.

Santiago can attribute much of their success to Kaedyn Blotzer, who had 29 assists and 11 digs, and Kiley Quinlan, who had ten digs and three assists. That's the most assists Blotzer has posted since back in August.

Southlands Christian typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Crossroads proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Roadrunners.

Santiago's win bumped their record up to 14-15. As for Crossroads, their victory bumped their record up to 16-9.
