Basketball Recap: Rosman Tigers vs. West-Oak Warriors
Rosman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the West-Oak Warriors, falling 54-18.
Harry Burgess was nothing short of spectacular for West-Oak: he went 12 for 21 en route to 27 points plus eight rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Max Wallace, who had nine points in addition to five steals.
Rosman's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for West-Oak, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Rosman will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Highlands at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West-Oak, they are on the road again on Monday to play Pickens at 7:30 p.m.
