After a string of six wins, Cook Inlet Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against the Susitna Valley Rams, falling 3-0. Considering the last time the Eagles couldn't score was back in October, the team can't take the result too hard.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-16, 25-10.

Cook Inlet Academy's loss dropped their record down to 21-16. As for Susitna Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-8 record this season.

Cook Inlet Academy will head out on the road to face off against Lumen Christi at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Susitna Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
