Baseball Recap: Western Tech & Environmental Science Find Success

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Western Tech & Environmental Science ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They walked away with an 8-5 win over the Perry Hall Gators. For the Wolverines, this counts as revenge for the 13-3 victory the Gators walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Western Tech & Environmental Science has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Perry Hall, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Coming up, Western Tech & Environmental Science will host Pallotti at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Perry Hall, they will head out to challenge Kenwood at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
