Basketball Recap: Laville Piles Up the Points Against Glenn

LaVille hadn't done well against Glenn recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The LaVille Lancers blew past the Glenn Falcons, posting a 70-23 victory. The Lancers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead LaVille to victory, but perhaps none more so than Collin Czarnecki, who went 11-for-21 on his way to 24 points in addition to seven assists and three steals. The game was Czarnecki's fifth in a row with at least 17 points. Lance Edison was another key player, putting up ten points along with six assists and six boards.

Glenn's loss came despite strong showings from Kaden Lang and Joe Divine. Lang posted five points, while Divine put up seven points.

LaVille pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.2 points over those games. As for Glenn, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.

LaVille has already played their next contest (against Whitko), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Glenn, they will square off against Marquette Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
