Basketball Game Preview: St. Anthony's Friars vs. St. John's Prep Red Storm

St. Anthony's is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 80-24 victory over Holy Trinity. Given the Friars' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Titans are ranked 577th), the result last Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, St. John's Prep was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 50-45 to Archbishop Molloy. The Red Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The win made it two in a row for St. Anthony's and bumps their season record up to 5-2. As for St. John's Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1.
