Baseball Game Preview: Manila Lions vs. Harrisburg Hornets

Manila hasn't had much luck against Harrisburg recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Lions will challenge the Hornets at 4:30 p.m. Manila will be strutting in after a win while Harrisburg will be coming in after a defeat.

On Monday, Manila came out on top against Bay by a score of 6-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).

Meanwhile, Harrisburg has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.21 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They came up short against Walnut Ridge, falling 10-4.

Manila's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Harrisburg, their loss dropped their record down to 13-6.

Manila couldn't quite get it done against Harrisburg in their previous matchup on Thursday as they fell 6-1. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
