Basketball Recap: Lometa Comes Up Short

Lometa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 45-25 to the San Saba Armadillos. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Armadillos this season, with their most recent loss being a 54-44 defeat last Thursday.

Lometa's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for San Saba, they moved to 3-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Lometa is taking a road trip to challenge Cherokee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for San Saba, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-30 win against Gorman on the 13th.
