Softball Game Preview: Palm Beach Central Broncos vs. Oxbridge Academy ThunderWolves

The Palm Beach Central Broncos are headed away from home for the first time to square off against the Oxbridge Academy ThunderWolves at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Palm Beach Central is leaving town to face Oxbridge Academy after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Broncos lost 14-1 to King's Academy on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Broncos have suffered since March 11, 2025.

Palm Beach Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Delsie Wise, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Meanwhile, Oxbridge Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against LaBelle as they made off with a 12-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the ThunderWolves in their matchups with the Cowboys/Cowgirls: they've now won three in a row.

Palm Beach Central came out on top in a nail-biter against Oxbridge Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Broncos since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
