Soccer Recap: Hardin-Jefferson Falls Short of Lorena in the Playoffs

Hardin-Jefferson and Lorena squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Hardin-Jefferson had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Leopards by a score of 1-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Hardin-Jefferson haven't been shut out since back in February.

With the loss, Hardin-Jefferson broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-7-3. As for Lorena, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-4.

Hardin-Jefferson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lorena, they will square off against El Campo on Monday. El Campo will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Lorena surely won't give up without a fight.
