Softball Recap: McKinney Boyd Comes Up Short

McKinney Boyd blew Plano out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Plano got their revenge. The Broncos fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 6-4. The Broncos were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 8-1.

McKinney Boyd saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addyson Lewis, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

McKinney Boyd has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season. As for Plano, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-15 record this season.

McKinney Boyd wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-2 win against McKinney on the 11th. As for Plano, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-0 loss against Plano East on the 11th.
