Softball Recap: Stonington Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Stonington's offense. They came up short against the Norwich Free Academy Wildcats on Monday, falling 7-0. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Stonington's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Norwich Free Academy, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Looking ahead, Stonington will be playing at home against New London at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Norwich Free Academy, they will challenge North Branford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
