Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Wilmington walked away with it. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Herscher Tigers on Tuesday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Rachel Smith paced Wilmington's offense, picking up eight kills. Smith got some help from Molly Southall and her 14 assists.

Wilmington's victory bumped their record up to 28-5. As for Herscher, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-28 record this season.

As of now, neither Wilmington nor Herscher have any future games scheduled.
