Soccer Game Preview: Aspen vs. Basalt

The Aspen Skiers will take on the Basalt Longhorns at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Basalt took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Aspen, who comes in off a win.

Aspen is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Colorado Rocky Mountain get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Lexi Munro as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Basalt lost 4-1 to Roaring Fork on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for Basalt in their meetings with Roaring Fork: they've now lost three in a row.

Aspen now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Basalt, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1.
