Softball Preview: Skyline Thunderbirds vs. Cimarron Bluejays

Skyline fell victim to Inman and their airtight pitching crew two weeks ago. They lost 17-0 to the Teutons.

The Bluejays fell just short of the Beavers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The contest marked the Bluejays' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Quinn Campbell put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
