Bonita Vista extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Mia Ramirez. The Barons took down the Downey Vikings 18-2 on Saturday thanks in part to Ramirez, who threw for 179 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 32 yards. Ramirez is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: she's passed for at least three every time she's taken the field this season.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Bonita Vista's defense and their five sacks. In that department, Ella Gomez was the leader with three.

Bonita Vista's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Downey, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Bonita Vista will square off against Santana at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Downey has already played their next contest (against El Modena), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
