Soccer Recap: Pepperell Comes Up Short

Pepperell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Coosa Eagles, falling 8-0. If Pepperell were looking for revenge after losing 2-2 to Coosa when the teams met back in February of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pepperell's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Coosa, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Coming up, Pepperell will challenge Temple at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Coosa, they will face off against LaFayette at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Coosa will be up against LaFayette's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.82 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
