Soccer Recap: Durham Charter Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Durham Charter had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They had just enough and edged out the Henderson Collegiate Pride 5-4. Durham Charter found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: three Durham Charter players were handed yellow cards.

Their offense was hitting Henderson Collegiate from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Henderson Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Durham Charter will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Youngsville Academy Charter at 4:30 p.m. on September 10. As for Henderson Collegiate, they will be playing in front of their home fans against The Burlington School at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
