Volleyball Recap: Goldsboro Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Goldsboro extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 5-10. They fell 3-1 to the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in August.

Aziyah Boyer paced Goldsboro's offense, picking up nine kills. Boyer got some help from Addison West and her 12 assists. West was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

As for Wallace-Rose Hill, their record is now 13-2. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 21, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Leading Wallace-Rose Hill to victory were Isabella Parker and Sally Martinez. Parker had eight digs and two aces, while Martinez had eight digs and two aces. That's the most digs Parker has posted since back in August. Kamdyn Gideon also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Goldsboro will welcome C.B. Aycock at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Princeton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
