Softball Recap: Rogers Takes a Loss

Rogers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 14-4 to the West Valley Eagles. If the Pirates were looking for revenge after losing 17-6 to the Eagles when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rogers' loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for West Valley, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Rogers by a score of 21-6 later that day.
