Weiss lost against A&M Consolidated back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolves took a 48-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. Despite 68 more yards than the Tigers, the Wolves couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Several Wolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaxon Schad, who threw for 392 yards and four TDs while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt. Schad is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season. Jayon Alexander helped Schad out on the ground, picking up 72 receiving yards and one score, while also rushing for 52 yards and one touchdown.

A&M Consolidated's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ja'Marlon Mooring led the charge by rushing for 154 yards and three TDs while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Those 154 rushing yards gave Mooring a new career-high. Camron Roston was another major influence, as he rushed for 94 yards and ran in a TD.

Having lost for the first time this season, Weiss fell to 2-1. As for A&M Consolidated, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.
