Basketball Recap: St. Edmund Comes Up Short

St. Edmund and Ouachita Christian squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but St. Edmund had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Ouachita Christian Eagles by a score of 41-39. The Fighting Blue Jays haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

St. Edmund's defeat dropped their record down to 23-5. As for Ouachita Christian, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 27-3.

St. Edmund does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ouachita Christian, they will take on Southern Lab on Monday. Ouachita Christian's defense has only allowed 25.6 points per game this season, so Southern Lab's offense will have their work cut out for them.
