Baseball Recap: Granger Comes Up Short

Granger lost against Rosebud-Lott back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Granger took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rosebud-Lott.

Nicholas Blane made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Tre Castillo, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Granger has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. The win (which was Rosebud-Lott's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-5-1.

Coming up, Granger will square off against Texas Wind at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rosebud-Lott, they will venture away from home to challenge Bosqueville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Rosebud-Lott will need to watch out since Bosqueville has now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
