Softball Recap: Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Comes Up Short

Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond lost against Meridian back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond lost 11-3 to Meridian. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

ANNA RAWLINS was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season. MACKENZIE CONDILL was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Meridian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond will challenge Oakwood at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Meridian, they will take on Central A & M at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Meridian's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
