Volleyball Recap: Groveton Comes Up Short

Groveton saw some tournament action on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Benjamin Davis Falcons. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kayleigh Albus paced Groveton's offense, picking up eight kills. Albus got some help from Alinda Veng and her 15 assists.

Groveton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Benjamin Davis, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Groveton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Centerville on the 14th. As for Benjamin Davis, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Coldspring-Oakhurst on the 15th.
