Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Red Mesa). They breezed by the Rough Rock Sun Devils to the tune of 66-20 on Tuesday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 59-28 back in December of 2024.

Red Mesa's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shyla Pipkin, who posted nine points along with six boards and three steals. Ashley Jones was another key player, going 5 of 11 on her way to 10 points.

Red Mesa smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive board total in three consecutive matchups.

Red Mesa is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.4 points per game. As for Rough Rock, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Red Mesa will challenge St. Michael at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rough Rock, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Whitehorse at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
