Baseball Recap: Baptist Prep Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mt. Vernon-Enola on Tuesday, Baptist Prep came back down to earth. The Eagles lost 12-2 to the Pulaski Academy Bruins on Thursday. The Eagles have struggled against the Bruins recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Baptist Prep saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Boyette, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Baptist Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5-1. As for Pulaski Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Baptist Prep will head out to take on Central at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pulaski Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Arkansas Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
