For the second straight game, Jordan will face off against Lehi. The Beetdiggers will head out to face off against the Pioneers at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Jordan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Jordan was handed a six-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They skirted past Lehi 3-1. The Beetdiggers haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

TALON PETERSEN spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, JAYDEN MONTOYA was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March.

The loss snapped Lehi's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-6 record. As for Jordan, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.

Wednesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Jordan has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .439. However, it's not like Lehi struggles in that department as they've averaged .442. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
