Pendleton County waltzed into their game on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Tucker County Mountain Lions with a sharp 9-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildcat, who have now won 19 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Avery Townsend was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, five stolen bases, and four runs. Those five stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jenna Smith, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Pendleton County's win bumped their record up to 26-2. As for Tucker County, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pendleton County beat the Mountain Lions by a score of 13-0 later that day.
