Cain Graham posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against North Duplin back in March of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Graham also tossed a walk, which is notable because East Duplin is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 4-5 otherwise.

Coming up, Graham and East Duplin will square off against South Lenoir at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. East Duplin will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 158 places lower in North Carolina), but they're not letting that get them down.
