Lakewood falls short of Adelanto in the playoffs

Recap: Lakewood Lancers vs. Adelanto Saints
Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, the Lakewood Lancers couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Saints by a score of 49-47. Lakewood just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Several Lancers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Keaton Lewis, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kecedric Dockery, who scored 15 points.
Lakewood's defeat dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Adelanto, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 23-6.
Lakewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Adelanto, they will take on San Gabriel Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. San Gabriel Academy will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Adelanto surely won't give up without a fight.
