High Tech NC is still undefeated this season after their game against Guajome Park Academy on Wednesday, but Guajome Park Academy came as close as anyone has to beating them. The High Tech NC Raptor sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Guajome Park Academy Frogs. The game was the first time the Raptor have beaten the Frogs on their field since February 20, 2020.

The team relied heavily on Cole Sakowski, who scored three runs and stole Six bases. while going 1-for-2. Sakowski is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Larkins, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

High Tech NC's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Guajome Park Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

High Tech NC will have a chance to go back-to-back against Guajome Park Academy: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
