Soccer Game Preview: East Ascension vs. Walker

The East Ascension Spartans will take on the Walker Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. East Ascension's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

East Ascension fell victim to Episcopal and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that the Spartans have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Walker came up short against Dutchtown on Tuesday, falling 4-1. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Griffins recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Walker's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-5. As for East Ascension, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6-5.
