Volleyball Recap: Coronado Dons vs. Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks

Coronado was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dons of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-9, 25-7.

Kaitlyn Kientzler was a one-woman wrecking crew For Desert Sunrise. as she had nine kills, six digs, and three aces. Kientzler has been hot recently, having posted six or more kills the last four times she's played. Emily Sibley was another key player, getting nine digs and two aces.
