Soccer Recap: J.L. Mann Continues Road Dominance on Thursday

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when J.L. Mann and Hillcrest meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. J.L. Mann was the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over Hillcrest. Given J.L. Mann's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked second, while Hillcrest are ranked 41st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

J.L. Mann's offense was hitting Hillcrest from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

J.L. Mann pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Hillcrest, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5.
