Basketball Recap: Anderson Takes a Loss

Anderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-53 heartbreaker at the hands of the Taylor Griffins. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-41 back in December of 2024.

Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Taylor, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Anderson will take on Clarenceville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Taylor, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lincoln Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
