Basketball Recap: Coquille Takes a Loss

Coquille was the 72-47 winner over Siuslaw when they last played one another back in December of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. The Coquille Red Devils received a blow on Friday as they fell 50-36 to the Siuslaw Vikings. The Red Devils' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Coquille's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Siuslaw, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coquille will take on Glide at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Coquille is facing Glide at the right time seeing as Glide is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Siuslaw has already played their next matchup (against South Umpqua), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
