Softball Recap: Marble Falls Comes Up Short

Marble Falls has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.9 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They lost 11-1 to the Lago Vista Vikings. The matchup marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Marble Falls and nudges their season record down to 7-3. As for Lago Vista, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marble Falls will host Taylor at 7:00 p.m. on March 4th. As for Lago Vista, they will be taking part in a tournament against Hudson at 9:20 a.m. on Thursday. Lago Vista will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
