Everything went their way against the Middleton Tigers on Tuesday as they made off with a 12-4 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Storm as it put an end to their eight-game losing streak.
Chamberlain got a great performance from Aidan Felix as he didn't allow a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Xavier Ether, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Trey Sharpe, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
Chamberlain was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .382. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Middleton only posted a batting average of .185.
Chamberlain's victory bumped their record up to 2-20. As for Middleton, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-17.
Coming up, Chamberlain will host Riverview at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Middleton, they will head out on the road to square off against Spoto at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
