Volleyball Recap: Lockport Porters vs. Huntley Red Raiders
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lockport had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Huntley Red Raiders.
Lockport easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-21.
Their offense was headlined by
Emily Mcgraw and
Jenna Kolosta, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from
Natalie Bochantin and her ten assists. She and Kolosta didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.
Lockport's win bumped their record up to 36-6. As for Huntley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 32-10.
