Basketball Recap: Treynor Piles Up the Points Against Underwood

Treynor had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Underwood Eagles 60-33. This was payback for the Cardinals, who suffered a 65-56 loss the last time these two teams met.

Treynor's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Underwood, their defeat ended a 14-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-2.

Treynor will take on AHSTW at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Treynor knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully AHSTW likes a good challenge. As for Underwood, they will square off against Missouri Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Underwood is facing Missouri Valley at the right time seeing as Missouri Valley is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
