Pine Hills Adventist's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luke Childers, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Jonah Jewkes, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Pine Hills Adventist's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Escondido Adventist Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.
Pine Hills Adventist won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Mountain View Adventist at 9:40 a.m. on January 25th. As for Escondido Adventist Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Coastal Academy at 6:00 p.m.
