Volleyball Recap: Marshall Redhawks vs. Grand Ledge Comets
The Marshall Redhawks were able to grind out a solid victory over the Grand Ledge Comets on Saturday, taking the game 2-0.
Brynn Johnson paced Marshall's offense, picking up nine kills. Johnson got some help from Addie Carden and her 19 assists. Brookelyn Stealy controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Marshall is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8-1 record this season. As for Grand Ledge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-12-1.
