Basketball Recap: Sweethaven Christian Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against TEACH Homeschool

Sweethaven Christian Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 93-22 loss at the hands of the TEACH Homeschool Beach Breakers. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 57-11.

TEACH Homeschool was led to victory by Aiden Dickson and Bryce Flynn. Dickson posted 22 points, while Flynn had 20 points. Those 20 points gave Flynn a new career-high. MacArthur Carlson was another key player, putting up 13 points.

TEACH Homeschool's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sweethaven Christian Academy will venture away from home to challenge Gill Grove Baptist at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for TEACH Homeschool, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Spirit HomeSchool at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
