Baseball Recap: Duluth East Takes a Loss

Duluth East made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Grand Rapids, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Greyhounds fell just short of the Thunderhawks by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday. The Greyhounds haven't had much luck with the Thunderhawks recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Duluth East's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Grand Rapids, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Duluth East will head out on the road to take on Totino-Grace at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Grand Rapids, they will host St. Cloud Cathedral at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Thunderhawks 2.8, the Crusaders 2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
